Which counter do you need?
Use the word counter for essays and articles, and the character counter when a form, bio or ad caps the length. The sentence and paragraph counters break a text into units so you can spot the long ones. The syllable counter checks poems, haiku and song lines line by line, and the X counter weighs links and emoji the way X does.
